About Us

Our Story
Farley’s Friends Pet Care is built on the belief that dogs deserve more than just a walk. Every service is rooted in understanding the individual dog in front of us and supporting them with structure, patience, and compassion.
I’m Camille, the owner and operator of Farley’s Friends. I was born and raised in Abbotsford and returned home in 2022 after years of travel, school, and hands on animal work. My background spans wildlife conservation and care, from working with wildcats in Bolivia, to carnivores in a zoo setting, to earning a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife & Fisheries. Long before that though, I was the kid carrying dog books everywhere, journaling about every dog I met, and dreaming of a life surrounded by animals.
In 2022, after more than a decade working in tree planting camps, I transitioned to dog walking full time. What started as a leap of faith quickly became a deeply fulfilling career. Farley’s Friends grew from a love of animals into a professional service focused on thoughtful, individualized care.
Our walks and training sessions are suited for all dogs, and are especially supportive for those who benefit from a quieter, more intentional approach. Services are private, structured, and tailored to each dog’s needs, whether that means building confidence, practicing neutrality, supporting puppies or seniors, or helping dogs with anxiety, fear, reactivity, or big feelings feel safer in their world.
We prioritize safety, engagement, and relationship building, while allowing dogs to move at their own pace. Structure here is not about restriction. It is about clarity and support so dogs can relax, learn, and thrive.
Farley’s Friends is also about trust. I value clear communication, consistency, and respect for each dog as an individual, and for each client as part of a team. Whether you are looking for dependable private walks or guidance through training challenges, my goal is to support both you and your dog with care that feels informed, calm, and genuinely invested.
Meet Farley
Farley is my senior Bernese Mountain Dog x Great Pyrenees, a Great Bernese, and the heart behind Farley’s Friends. He loves cold weather, gentle adventures, digging the perfect dirt nap spot, and sampling every snack imaginable.
Following a recent TPLO surgery, Farley no longer joins walks the way he once did, but his influence is still felt in everything I do. His journey has shaped my approach to thoughtful pacing, consent, and meeting dogs where they are at. His calm presence, patience, and abundant floof continue to inspire the care and support that define Farley’s Friends, even if these days he is cheering everyone on from home.
He reminds me daily that dogs do not need to be pushed to be fulfilled. They need to be understood.

Our Approach
Every walk and training session is an opportunity to support your dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing.
I focus on:
• Safety and threshold awareness
• Calm engagement and neutrality in the real world
• Relationship building through trust and clarity
• Meeting dogs at their pace, not rushing progress
• Creating structure that leads to freedom
Training does not just happen during training sessions. Dogs are learning through every interaction, every walk, and every experience. My goal is to help dogs feel supported in their daily lives and to help guardians feel confident in understanding and advocating for their dog.
